Cook onion in oil in a small saucepan over medium heat until starting to brown.
Add minced garlic and stir just until aroma comes, 30 seconds to a minute.
Add wine and rest of ingredients and simmer 10 – 15 minutes until reduced and thickened.
Brush it on whatever you're grilling toward the end of the cooking or brush on for a quick broil after slow cooking. I've even added some of this to stir fries with great results.
